Rihanna is the new face of Balmain

Well-known singer Rihanna is the new global face of the upcoming Balmain Spring/Summer 2014 campaign.

Olivier Rousteing, the label's creative director, praised the 25 year-old musician, saying; "When the woman that inspires you wears your creations, your vision feels complete. In front of the camera, she makes you feel like she is the only girl in the world," making reference to Rihanna's 2010 hit song "Only Girl."



The campaign was shot in New York by the Dutch duo, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. In charge of styling the green-eyed Barbadian, was her personal stylist Mel Ottenberg. Look out for the brand's advertisements featuring Rihanna, to appear in fashion magazines by NEW Year 2014.
