Nicky Hilton is expecting her first child

Six months after her fairy-tale wedding, Nicky Hilton Rothschild and her financier husband James Rothschild are expecting their first child due to arrive in the summer.

'Nicky is very excited to become a mom,' a source told People magazine. 'She is feeling great! They've just begun telling close friends and family. Nicky and James are over the moon!'

The couple were married at Kensington Palace last July in a stunning ceremony.

Hilton has been busy over the past year by launching various fashion lines. In August of last year, the hotel heiress and author of '365 Style' launched an exclusive handbag capsule collection with handbag and accessories brand, Linea Pelle, as well as teaming up with Smashbox Cosmetics to release a signature line of cat eye makeup kits, last June.
