Beauty giant Estée Lauder
announced on Saturday morning that Kendall Jenner is its newest face. The 19-year-old model is set to appear in the company's TV, digital, and print ad campaigns as well as create social-media content. The Mega-cosmetics label has described the model as " fashion's new breakout star and a social media sensation"
Jenner found out about the deal via text message when she was backstage at Paris Fashion Week and kept the news secret until she posted a series of Instagrams over the weekend. "It honestly feels like a dream to represent such an iconic beauty brand - it is an incredible honour and quite humbling,"
she said. "I am so excited to share it now and be part of Estée Lauder."
Jenner is no stranger to the fashion world, she made her debut with Marc Jacobs’ in 2013 and has had an incredible year in 2014 having walked thirteen shows in New York, Milan and Paris including Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Emilio Pucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy and DVF. The social media sensation has also appeared in French Vogue. She will be joining fellow models Joan Smalls, Constance Jablonski and Liu Wen.

Estee Lauder showcased a video that featured the model’s reaction to the news and her favorite beauty picks from the line. "I feel like I'm more honored to be a part of something with such amazing names involved. It's something that I didn't really expect to happen so quickly. It's so crazy."
Other celebrities who’ve been the face of the brand include Gwyneth Paltrow, Elizabeth Hurley and supermodel Stephanie Seymour. With 15.7 million Instagram followers and a legion of young fans Estee Lauder is sure to win a whole new generation of beauty consumers.
