Jennifer Lopez is the new face of Guess's Spring / Summer 2018 campaign.
The 48-year-old has made history as the oldest Guess girl, dethroning Claudia Schiffer who was 41 when she fronted the brand's 30th anniversary in 2012.
Guess co-founder Paul Marciano is known for choosing strong and feminine personalities as the faces of his brand. In keeping with this ethos, he chose Lopez to serve as a new testimonial.
'When I got the call from Paul Marciano asking me to become the new Guess Girl, I was thrilled and excited to be a part of such an iconic brand that I have loved since I was a teenager,'
Lopez said in a press release. 'When I look back at early Guess campaigns through the years, you see all of these beautiful models and iconic images that Paul has created. It is a tremendous compliment to have been selected for Guess's Spring 2018 campaign.'
The campaign was directed by Marciano and lensed by photographer Tatiana Gerusova in an old mansion. Reminiscent of the brand's original campaigns, the black and white spread was inspired by Lopez's life as a singer in Las Vegas and an actress in Hollywood.

Lopez who is also the face of L'Oreal Paris, designed a shoe collection with Guiseppe Zanotti and launched her own fashion label and jewelery collection. In addition, she currenty stars in the TV series "Shades of Blue".
