Hedi Slimane unveils the location for first CELINE show

Hedi Slimane has unveiled that his debut collection for Celine will take place at Hotel des Invalides during Paris Fashion Week.

The French designer announced the location via Instagram in a post with an image of the location and the caption 'Show location Paris'. The historic building which is located in the 7th arrondissement i.e. a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower is one of the city's most famous buildings with its huge golden dome, and lush gardens. It houses the tomb of Napoleon the first and some of France's war heroes. It also houses a museum and some monuments, all relating to the military history of France, as well as a hospital and a retirement home for war veterans.

This is not the first time that Slimane has presented a collection at this location. Earlier he had presented his Fall/Winter 2013-2014 men's collection for Saint Laurent.
