Coach introduces Tom Wesselmann collection with global campaign starring Hari Nef

Tapestry, Inc Global fashion house, Coach has launched a collection in collaboration with late American artist Tom Wesselmann.

Titled 'Coach x Tom Wesselmann' the capsule comprises of Backpacks, Bags, Bag Charms, Clothes, Desk Accessories, Jewelry, Key Rings, Outerwear, Shoes and Wallets. Inspired by the playful, optimistic spirit that Coach shares with the American pop artist, the collection introduces the amazing artworks on Coach icons that celebrate the house and the artist's shared legacies of American heritage and pop culture. Coach's signatures, like the classic handheld Rogue and 70s-inspired Duffle features Wesselmann's cheeky graphic prints.


'Like my collections for Coach, Tom Wesselmann's work is inspired by the extraordinary found in the everyday and the universal references that bring us together. Sensory and joyful, our collaboration is a tribute to the sense of pleasure Tom found in the process of creating. I'm very honored to have worked with his family to bring it to life, and proud to share his work with a new generation,' said Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers in a press release, who worked alongside the artist's family and estate during the collection's formulation.

Alongside the launch of the new collection, a global campaign lensed by Juergen Teller and featuring actress Hari Nef, model Manami Kinoshita, and activist and poet Kai Isaiah Jamal has been released. A digital experience where one can learn more about the collection, Wesselmann's life and work and also play with the artist's iconic motifs through social filters has also been launched.
