Christy Turlington is the new face of J Brand

Christy Turlington is the new face of J Brand.

The 90s supermodel has been tapped by the Californian brand to front its Spring / Summer 2020 campaign. Titled 'Less is More' the images were lensed by Matthew Welch and styled by Karla Welch. Turlington models looks from the collection paired with white T-shirts and plain turtlenecks.

The new collection is part of J Brands' commitment to sustainability and producing 100% eco-friendly denim. Denim usually requires a lot of water and the J Brand teams have managed to reduce this quantity without compromising the quality of their parts.

'I've always been a 'less is more' person, and always will be. If I make a decision, I plan to live with it for a long time,' said Turlington of the campaign. '[Denim] is seasonless and fits my everyday life better than any other material. Except when I have to dress up, but I don't really do it. I'm a practical person. I want it to be comfortable, not complicated.'

According to Turlington the Thelma Jeans is her favorite piece from the collection and she was very impressed by J Brand's involvement in greener fashion.
