Alicia Vikander Covers the August 2016 Issue of British Vogue

Alicia Vikander makes her debut on the cover of British Vogue. The Oscar-winning actress was lensed by star photographer Alasdair McLellan and styled by Kate Phelan for the August issue of the legendary fashion bible.

Wearing a black Paillettentop embellished gown with colorful ornaments, the Swede appears in front of a blue expanse of the sea horizon. In another image inside the magazine, she sports an oversized knitwear jumper over a black bralet.

In her the accompanying interview with the glossy Vikander talks about how it feels to have taken Hollywood by storm. She also shared how important it was for her to have boyfriend Michael Fassbender by her side to celebrate the moment she won the Academy Award for performance in The Danish Girl.'That wasn't even a question,' she told Vogue. 'It felt like the right thing. We wanted to sit next to each other, simple as that. We wouldn't have gone there and not sat together.'
