Alexander McQueen's Life To Become A Movie

An Alexander McQueen Film is in the works and the famed British fashion designer's life will be brought to the big screen this year,

According to Deadline Hollywood, director Andrew Haigh (45 days) has signed onto the biopic project. Loosely based on Andrew Wilson's biography, Alexander McQueen: Blood Beneath The Skin, playwright Chris Urch is reported to be tied to the film as the screenwriter.

The announcement comes after The Alexander McQueen exhibition, Savage Beauty, that premiered in May 2015 and ran until November 2015 in London, broke museum box office records on both sides of the Atlantic.

There is no word yet on who will play Lee McQueen himself.
