Vivienne Westwood teams up with Buffalo London for Trendy Platforms

English punk label Vivienne Westwood and cult shoe brand Buffalo London have teamed up on a capsule collection of sandals and wedges for Spring / Summer 2019.

Titled Vivienne Westwood x Buffalo London, the capsule combines the design of some of the most iconic shoes: the legendary 'Pirate Boot', which has been the classic of Vivienne Westwood since 1981, with the 'Hightower Platform' by Buffalo. The result is a reimagined fusion called the 'Pirate Boot Platform' with contrasting light brown leather buckles and the dizzying high heels.

Andreas Kronthaler, creative director at Vivienne Westwood, immortalized his initials in red on black leather for the platform boots for the new collection. The avant-garde campaign images were captured by Jurgen Teller.
