Louis Vuitton opens colorful exhibition in Los Angeles


In celebration of 160 years of creative collaborations, Louis Vuitton has opened an exhibition in Los Angeles.

Titled "Louis Vuitton X" the exhibition explores the French fashion's numerous artistic collaborations and iconic partnerships. Over 180 collaborative creations from the Louis Vuitton archives are presented throughout a dozen rooms, each with a different theme. Every space within the exhibition has a sleek and modern interior, with bright colors, light effects, and typical Louis Vuitton prints.

Another highlight of the exhibition is various iconic monogram bags that have been reimagined and given a new look by some of the fashion world's leading figures such as Karl Lagerfeld, Rei Kawakubo, Cindy Sherman, and Frank Gehry. The endpoint for this immersive journey is the Artycapucines collection which features the classic Capucines handbag which has received a makeover from six contemporary artists: Sam Falls, Urs Fischer, Nicholas Hlobo, Alex Israel, Tschabalala Self, and Jonas Wood.

The "Louis Vuitton X" exhibition is open now till 15 September at 468 North Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210.
