French fashion label Isabel Marant has appointed Dutch designer Kim Bekker as artistic director of its women's and men's collections.
A graduate in Fashion Design from the Academy of Art and Design in Arnhem (Netherlands), Bekker was creative director of Isabel Marant from 2008 to 2018. She thereafter joined Saint Laurent as design director of pre-collections & finished products where she spent a year and a half. In March of this year she returned to Isabel Marant.
According to the brand, Bekker will work alongside its founder and Parisian designer Isabel Marant, supervising the ready-to-wear lines for women and men, in order to support the house in its growth and development projects.
Isabel Marant will present its spring-summer 2022 collection as part of Paris Fashion Week on September 30.
