American fashion house Calvin Klein and New York City retail store Kith have collaborated on a new collection of underwear.
Titled 'Kith for Calvin Klein 2020' the new collection marks the first time in Calvin Klein's history that another brand's logo shares the waistband of their iconic underwear.
The collection is offered in two distinct styles: classic and seasonal. The classic range comprises of a men's boxer brief and women's bralette and thong in black, light heather grey, white, shark, woodrose, and cinder. It combines the two brands' signature color palettes as well as Kith's monogram pattern across the garments.
The seasonal range comprises of new colorways and patterns and introduces new women's silhouettes: men's boxers in black, white, dark navy, scarab, crimson, and ultramarine, as well as women's asymmetrical strap bralette, double-banded bralette, and racerback bralettes with matching thongs.
To mark the launch of the new collection, a corresponding ad campaign features none other than Gigi Hadid has been released on Kith.com, as well as Calvin Klein's iconic billboard on Houston St in New York and the La Cienega Blvd billboard in Los Angeles. Inspired by Calvin Klein's iconic 1990s aesthetic, the campaign was lensed by famed photographer Cass Bird and styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson and shows the supermodel posing in a series of sartorial images sporting looks from the new collection.
