Ralph Lauren celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Pink Pony Initiative

American fashion company Ralph Lauren is celebrating 20 years of its 'Pink Pony' initiative.

Founded in 2000, the global philanthropic program dedicated to the fight against cancer is committed to reducing social disparities in cancer care, finding cures, and ensuring people around the world have access to quality treatment at an earlier, more treatable stage of the disease.

To mark the anniversary, Ralph Lauren has released a collection, dedicated to the fight against cancer which consists of polo shirts, T-shirts, joggers, varsity jackets, hoodies and knitwear with Pink Pony graphics in a palette of pink, navy, white and grey.

A key highlight of the collection is the 'Love Language' t-shirt, which is available with a print in 20 different languages. 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of the light pink 'Live Love' shirt and 25 percent of all other items in the collection will go to the Pink Pony Fund of the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation and an international network of charities in the context of cancer.

A campaign titled 'More Conversations, More Love' was launched featuring a diverse group of more than 30 cancer survivors and supporters: Olympic gold medallist Nathan Adrian, LGBTQ-advocate and physician Elizabeth Lorde-Rollins, and American politician Maya Rockeymoore Cummings to name a few. Together, they share their individual and intimate thoughts in order to promote dialogue, encourage courage and generate awareness for the disease cancer.
