France\'s Museum of Lace and Fashion to Present Haute Couture Exhibition dedicated to Yiqing Yin

The Museum of Lace and Fashion Calais France will be presenting an Exhibition dedicated to the work of multidisciplinary artist Yiqing Yin.

Titled 'Of Air And Dreams', and curated by Sylvie Marot, it will feature 70 dresses from her 2009 graduate collection including iconic dresses with airy silhouettes and intricate draping, as well as new creations crafted in 2025. Each of the dresses are worked by hand with a meticulousness that gives each piece the quality of a living sculpture.

A must-see for fashion and art lovers, where haute couture transcends fashion to become a poetic dialogue between material and imagination, the exhibition will also feature images (photographs, films, drawings) sound textures (murmurs, rustling air) and exclusive perfumes developed in collaboration with master perfumer Dominique Ropion.

A fashion designer, artistic director, costume designer, and muse, Yin embodies multiple roles with her artistic disciplines at the intersection of dream and exploration of the senses. A graduate of Paris' Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs, she is a winner of the Grand Prize of Creation from the City of Paris in 2009 and the ANDAM First Collection Prize in 2011. She has worked as creative director for Leonard (2014-2015) and Poiret (2018), alongside collaborations with luxury brands like Vacheron Constantin, Cartier, and Hermes.

The Yiqing Yin Haute Couture Exhibition will take place at the Museum of Lace and Fashion, in the port city of Calais from June 14, 2025 to January 4, 2026.
