Aquazzura celebrates its 10th Anniversary with Capsule Collection in collaboration with Swarovski

Florence-based luxury footwear brand Aquazzura is celebrating its 10th Anniversary by teaming up with Austrian jewelry label Swarovski for a new Capsule Collection.

Titled 'Swarovski x Aquazzura' the collection introduces a mesmerizing new shoe design - The Aura Sandal. Handmade in Italy, each model features an ankle strap embellished with shining square-cut crystals while the heel is encrusted with precision-cut crystals developed exclusively by Swarovski Creators Lab.

A celebration of vivid color and intricate adornment, the shoe is available in five colors and material combinations: Very Peri; a metallic green hue; a bouganville fuchsia, and a transparent plexi version in shimmering silver or gold.


'I've been using Swarovski crystals since the very beginning of Aquazzura and I fell in love with the idea of doing something really special together. For the concept behind the shoes, I wanted this style to be all about the crystals and woman's legs...a woman walking in crystals and nothing else. We developed special colorways and stones for this collaboration. My favorite one is the fuchsia crystal in the different shades which is something that I haven't seen before; i love how it changes color accordingly to how the light hits it,' said founder Edgardo Osorio.


The Swarovski x Aquazzura collection is available now at Aquazzura and selected Swarovski flagship stores, as well as on the online boutiques Aquazzura.com and at Creators Lab platform on Swarovski.com where customers can buy uniquely collectible, limited-release items.
