LVMH owned French luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton has announced a multi-year partnership with Spanish professional football club Real Madrid.
The collaborative agreement which makes the French brand an official sponsor of the club and it's Luxury Travel wear partner replaces Ermenegildo Zegna. It also marks Louis Vuitton's first official foray into providing renowned tailoring expertise for the athletes of a storied club.
Real Madrid's men's and women's football and basketball squads will sport exclusive formal and travel wear designed by Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton's Men's Creative Director, for travel and institutional events.
The formal wardrobe created by Louis Vuitton comprises of ready-to-wear pieces, shoes and accessories, crafted with the Maison's signature refined elegance. This is complemented by an exclusive line of Travel Wear and accessories personalized with 'RM' initials and iconic Monogram canvas in the club's colors with distinctive white and gold stripes.

The announcement is accompanied by a campaign featuring Real Madrid players : Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal, Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Thibaut Courtois, Caroline Weir and Athenea del Castillo. Fusing sport and fashion, the players showcase tailored suits, LV Soft shoes, palladium-buckled belts, and monogrammed luggage such as the Horizon 55 suitcase and Christopher backpack.
After having designed and crafted trophies for the most prestigious international competitions, in teaming up with Real Madrid, Louis Vuitton opens a new chapter in its collaborations with the world's most illustrious sporting institutions.
