Jana Rajlich was born in Culver City, CA to a Czech father and Filipino mother. By the time Jana was a teenager she was signed personally by Eileen Ford in New York, and her career took off. Before her 18th birthday, Jana was living in Paris and modeling for top designers worldwide, including Versace, Valentino, Yves St. Laurent and many others. Jana was featured in several runway shows from New York, London, Paris, Tokyo to Milan. By her early 20s she had graced covers of several major publications, including Vogue, Elle, Madmoiselle, and Cosmopolitan. She worked with noted photographers Robert Mapplethorpe, Helmut Newton, Alice Springs, Herb Ritts, Ellen Von Unwerth, Mario Testino, Karl Lagerfeld, Paolo Roversi, Irving Penn, Michael Thompson, Albert Watson, Peter Lindbergh, Patrick Demarchelier, Michel Comte, Arthur Elgort, Peggy Sirota, Greg Gorman, Steven Meisel, Steven Klein, Bert Stern, Neil Kirk and many others. Soon, Jana was in demand doing print campaigns, TV commercials with directors like Spike Jonze and Tony Kaye, and even music videos with artists like Rod Stewart, John Mellencamp and the Rolling Stones. Jana has done the following commercials and campaigns: Mitsubishi, Volvo, Jovan Musk, Jovan Perfume, Karl Lagerfeld, Lancôme Cosmetics, Cherry Coke, Jana has 2 daughters Milena, 18 (who is following her mothers footsteps) and Martina, 15. Jana currently lives in Venice Beach, Ca.
