BIOGRAPHY

Erika Anderson was born in Tulsa, OK. The daughter of a contemporary sculptor, she was raised in an environment that was rich in the arts and culture. She has led a varied and interesting life, working as a jazz DJ on an NPR station, hosting her own television show with a focus on the arts, and working steadily as a rock journalist on a syndicated television show all before beginning a successful modeling career. After moving to Los Angeles she signed with legendary agent Nina Blanchard. As her career expanded she moved to the Elite agency where she was represented for many years. As a model she has worked for Helmut Newton, Patrick Demarchelier, Albert Watson, Arthur Elgort, Victor Skrebneski, Deborah Turbeville, Gianpaolo Barbieri, Sheila Metzner, Paul Jasmin, Peter Beard and many other great photographers as well as working as a life model for both the sculptor Robert Graham and painter Richard Butler. She has walked the runway for Valentino, Armani, Calvin Klein, Geoffrey Beene, and Gianfranco Ferre. As her acting career took off, she was in high demand for commercial work, working with Adrian Lyne and Tony Scott, which led to yet another successful career starring in movies and television, including David Lynch’s Twin Peaks and The Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, among many others. Erika lives in The Hudson Valley with her boyfriend and two cats.
