- Her full name is Inès Marie Lætitia Églantine Isabelle de Seignard de la Fressange.
- Inès began modelling at age 15 though she was 18 before her career took off after being photographed by Paolo Roversi for French Elle. She had originally suffered rejection by many agencies before her potential was finally spotted by an agent at Pauline's. Inès later went on to land the coveted House of Chanel contract, having been chosen by Karl Lagerfeld. When the Chanel contract ended in 1990, Inès decided to eke out a career as a designer and began working on her own collection. In 1992, she opened her own boutique 'Inès de la Fressange' in a fashionable area of Paris which sells her own collection along with shoes, accessories and unusual artefacts.
