Swimwear and underwear brand (one of the leaders in Italy). Its story began in Gallarate in 1950: Edda Paracchini made items of underwear at home and her husband Giovanni Piazzalunga, a banker by profession, sold them at weekend markets. Success has meant that now the group has three companies (one, the Gruppo Tessile Associato, produces 160,000 items of knitwear, women's clothing, and men's casualwear a year) belonging to the Piazzalunga family. Their average turnover over the last few years has been 31 million euros.
The brands are distribuited at 3.000 sles outlets throughout Europe and the world as wella s in 55 retail shops including both whollyowned flagship stores and franchise stores.
Parah has 160 employees on staff and more than 300 private label manufactures and craftsmen.
