Nicopanda is a fashion and lifestyle brand developed by award winning creative director Nicola Formichetti. It is a fictional panda character that is built on Nicola’s childhood nickname and launched in 2011 in New York through Nicola’s pop-up store in Tribeca.
To satisfy the brand’s growing legion of followers across the globe, Nicopanda launched its first full unisex ready-to-wear collection in September 2014 transitioning the brand from cult cartoon merchandise to fully-fledged fashion label. The success of this debut collection secured global retailers, with Lane Crawford, Opening Ceremony and Maria Luisa at Printemps creating Nicopanda store experiences.
With its ever-growing global audience Nicopanda is building a foundation to become the punk Hello Kitty for the millennial generation.
