about Inspired by the vibrancy and diversity of her journeys, Ana ekularac has launched her signature label, Ana Sekularac.
The launch of the Ana Sekularac signature label was celebrated with an exclusive fashion show in Belgrade in winter 2005 in association with the British Fashion Council. Attending the show was amongst others, the Serbian Princess Jelisaveta Karadjordevic, the British Ambassador and numerous celebrities from TV, arts and sports and Anas uncle, Dragoslav ekularac, the legendary former national football player renowned for his talent and skills in the 1960s.
The event was covered by both TV and the major fashion magazine and quality newspapers in Serbia and Ana ekularac became the designer of choice for the countrys A-list celebrities.
The launch of the Ana Sekularacs brand in London was marked by her debut show during London Fashion Week in February 2007 which was amongst others featured on vogue.co.uk and glamour.co.uk with previous press features in the Daily Mail, The Telegraph, Stella Magazine, Flux and Grazia and upcoming features in 156fashion.com and Vogue UK.
As a modern interpretation of the glamorous Art Deco era, the collection embraces individuality and is a tribute to strong and intelligent women, with its eclectic sense of style and exquisite craftsmanship.
Ana creates the designs like a couture designer; in her fashion atelier where each piece is created by seamstresses and finished by hand.
The Ana Sekularac signatures are the interlocking of colours, neo-modern architectural cut, excellent craftsmanship, superb execution and striking detailing. The Ana Sekularac signature colours are scarlet red and black and every season a third colour is chosen to set the mood.
