Aldo Martinï¿½s specialises in the design, production and sale of womenï¿½s knitwear. It was created in 1975 by Martï¿½ Bisbal in Igualada (Barcelona) and is now run by the familyï¿½s second generation, with Nï¿½ria Bisbal in charge of artistic direction.
In 1995, 20 years down the road, Martï¿½ Bisbal built a new factory, the companyï¿½s current headquarters, with a floor area of almost 4,200mï¿½. it is in the regional capital, Igualada, a place with a great textile tradition. The business moved its operations there, investing more and more in the latest machinery for textile production.
From then on, change was rapid. In January 1998, Aldo Martinï¿½s showed at Prï¿½t-ï¿½-Porter in Paris, launching the brand on the international market.
In recent years, his daughter and two sons have become involved in the project, making a decisive contribution to the creative side of a dynamic, young-at-heart company, allowing it to cater to the need of a n ever more demanding market.
Nowadays, more than 70% of sales go to the international market. The brand is present in Europeï¿½s most prestigious boutiques, mainly in France, but also in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with exports to Asia increasing all the time.
Despite rapid expansion and major sales growth, Aldo Martinï¿½s continues to base its business on creativity and quality service.
Aldo Martinï¿½s jumpers, skirts, jackets and T-shirts are made from top-quality materials. They are impeccably designed in a very up-to-date urban style, in keeping with the latest trends. Original, highly elaborate prints are one of their most distinctive features.
It is a regular participant in trade fairs including Prï¿½t-ï¿½-porter (Paris), A Fair (Antwerp) and CPD (Dï¿½sseldorf).
