Xu Yang is a Chinese photographer and visual artist based in Beijing. He is best known for his unique and captivating images of everyday life in China.

Born in Beijing in 1985, Xu Yang developed an interest in photography at an early age. He began taking pictures of his family and friends, and soon realized that he had a talent for capturing the beauty of everyday moments. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing to study photography.

During his time at the academy, Xu Yang developed a passion for street photography. He traveled around China, capturing candid shots of people going about their daily lives. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic and Time Magazine.

In addition to his street photography, Xu Yang also creates stunning landscape images that capture the beauty of China’s natural environment. His work has been exhibited around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

Xu Yang’s work has earned him numerous awards and accolades over the years, including being named one of TIME Magazine’s “30 Most Influential Photographers Under 30” in 2017. He continues to push boundaries with his unique vision and creative approach to photography.
