Wendelin Spiess is a German photographer and artist who has been capturing the beauty of nature for over 30 years. Born in 1962 in the small town of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, Wendelin developed an early passion for photography and art. He studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, where he graduated with a degree in photography and media design.

After graduating, Wendelin began his career as a freelance photographer, traveling around Europe to capture stunning landscapes and wildlife. His work has been featured in numerous publications such as National Geographic, GEO Magazine, and Outdoor Photographer Magazine. He has also exhibited his work at galleries around the world including the Museum of Natural History in Berlin and the International Center for Photography in New York City.

In addition to his photography career, Wendelin is also an avid environmentalist who works to protect endangered species and habitats around the world. He is a member of several conservation organizations such as Greenpeace and World Wildlife Fund (WWF). He also serves on the board of directors for several environmental organizations including The Nature Conservancy and The Wilderness Society.

Wendelin’s passion for nature shines through his work which captures its beauty with stunning clarity. His photographs are often described as “capturing moments that will never be seen again” due to their unique composition and vivid colors.
