Valeriya Vygodnaya is a Russian photographer and visual artist based in Moscow. She is best known for her unique and captivating photographs of everyday life in Russia.

Valeriya was born in Moscow in 1985 and grew up surrounded by the city’s vibrant culture. From an early age, she was drawn to photography, taking pictures of her friends and family as well as the city’s streets and buildings. After graduating from high school, Valeriya enrolled at the Rodchenko School of Photography and Multimedia, where she studied under renowned Russian photographers such as Alexander Gronsky and Oleg Klimov.

Valeriya’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. Her photographs have also been published in magazines such as National Geographic, GEO Magazine, and The New Yorker.

Valeriya’s work focuses on capturing everyday moments that often go unnoticed or overlooked. She has a keen eye for detail and composition that allows her to create stunning images that capture both the beauty and complexity of life in Russia. Her work has been praised for its ability to tell stories about people’s lives without relying on words or dialogue.
