Sylvain Blais is a Canadian photographer and visual artist based in Montreal, Quebec. He is best known for his stunning landscape photography, which captures the beauty of nature in all its forms.

Blais was born in Montreal in 1975 and grew up surrounded by the city's vibrant culture. From an early age, he was drawn to the visual arts, and began experimenting with photography as a teenager. After graduating from high school, he attended Concordia University where he studied photography and film.

In 2000, Blais began his professional career as a freelance photographer. He quickly gained recognition for his work, which has been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic and The New York Times Magazine. His photographs have also been exhibited at galleries around the world, including the Museum of Fine Arts in Montreal and the International Center of Photography in New York City.

Blais' work is characterized by its vivid colors and unique perspectives on nature.
