She studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld, Germany, where she graduated with a degree in photography and media design. After graduating, she moved to Berlin to pursue her career as a professional photographer.

Throughout her career, Sandra Weimar has explored a variety of photographic genres including portraiture, documentary photography, fashion photography, and fine art photography.
