Sam Taylor Johnson is a renowned photographer and filmmaker who has been capturing stunning images for over two decades. Born in London, England in 1967, she began her career as a fashion photographer before transitioning to fine art photography. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and The New York Times Magazine.

In 2009, Taylor Johnson made her directorial debut with the critically acclaimed film Nowhere Boy. The movie was based on the childhood of John Lennon and starred Aaron Johnson and Kristin Scott Thomas. It was nominated for two BAFTA awards and won the Evening Standard British Film Award for Best Film.

Taylor Johnson has since gone on to direct several other films including Fifty Shades of Grey (2015), A Million Little Pieces (2018), and the upcoming adaptation of the novel The Lost Girls of Paris (2020). She also directed episodes of the television series Gypsy (2017) and Black Mirror (2019).

In addition to her work as a director, Taylor Johnson is also an accomplished photographer whose work has been exhibited in galleries around the world. Her photographs often explore themes such as identity, gender roles, and relationships. She has published several books of her photography including I Am Who I Am (2009) and From Here To Eternity (2013).

Taylor Johnson is married to actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson with whom she has two daughters. She currently lives in London with her family where she continues to create stunning photographs that capture moments of beauty in everyday life.
