About

Romain Duquesne is a French photographer and visual artist based in Paris. He has been working in the field of photography since the early 2000s, and his work has been featured in numerous publications, exhibitions, and festivals around the world.

Romain was born in Paris in 1979 and grew up surrounded by art and culture. His father was a painter, and his mother was a sculptor, so it's no surprise that he developed an interest in art from an early age. He studied photography at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, where he graduated with honors in 2003.

Since then, Romain has become known for his unique style of photography which combines elements of documentary photography with surrealism. His work often focuses on themes such as identity, memory, and nostalgia. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe to capture images of everyday life that are both beautiful and thought-provoking.

Romain's photographs have been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and the Tate Modern in London. His work has also been featured in publications such as The New Yorker, Vogue Italia, and The Guardian. In addition to his photographic work, Romain is also an accomplished filmmaker who has directed several short films that have screened at film festivals around the world.

Romain continues to push boundaries with his creative vision while exploring new ways to express himself through photography and film. He is currently working on a new project which will be released later this year.
