Hamada was born in Tokyo, Japan and moved to the United States at the age of 18 to pursue his passion for photography. He attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers.

Throughout his career, Hamada has traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad to capture unique images of people and places. His work often focuses on capturing moments that are both beautiful and meaningful. He is known for his ability to capture emotion through his photographs.
