Philippe Cometti is a French photographer and filmmaker based in Paris. He is known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary, fashion, and fine art.

Born in Paris in 1975, Philippe Cometti developed an early interest in photography and filmmaking. He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where he graduated with a degree in photography and film. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer and filmmaker for various magazines and newspapers.

In 2003, Philippe Cometti released his first book of photographs entitled "The World Through My Eyes". The book featured photographs from his travels around the world, including images from India, China, Japan, Mexico, and the United States. His work has since been featured in numerous publications such as Vogue Italia, The New York Times Magazine, Le Monde Magazine, and National Geographic.

In addition to his photographic work, Philippe Cometti has also directed several short films. His films have been screened at festivals around the world including Cannes Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival. In 2010 he was awarded the Prix de la Photographie at the Rencontres d'Arles festival for his series "The World Through My Eyes".

Philippe Cometti continues to travel around the world capturing unique moments with his camera. His work has been exhibited internationally including at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
