He studied photography at the Tokyo College of Photography and graduated with honors in 1988. After graduation, Norio began working as a freelance photographer, traveling around Japan to capture the beauty of its natural landscapes. His work has been featured in numerous magazines and books, including National Geographic and The New York Times.
