Nir Hod is an Israeli-born artist and photographer who has gained international recognition for his unique and provocative works. Born in Tel Aviv in 1975, Hod studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem before moving to New York City in 2000.

Hod's work often explores themes of mortality, identity, and sexuality. His photographs are characterized by a dreamlike quality that is both surreal and hauntingly beautiful. He often uses digital manipulation to create surreal images that explore the boundaries between reality and fantasy.

Hod has exhibited his work around the world, including solo exhibitions at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Jewish Museum in New York City, and the Kunsthalle Wien in Vienna. His work has also been featured in numerous publications such as The New Yorker, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and The New York Times Magazine.

In addition to his photography career, Hod is also a successful musician who has released several albums under his own name as well as with various bands. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles where he continues to explore new ways of expressing himself through art.
