Nicoleta Iliescu is a Romanian photographer and visual artist based in Bucharest. She has been working as a professional photographer since 2006, and her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications around the world.

Iliescu's photography focuses on the human condition, exploring themes of identity, memory, and emotion. Her work often features intimate portraits of people from her native Romania, as well as landscapes and still lifes. She is particularly interested in capturing the beauty of everyday life, often using natural light to create a sense of atmosphere.

Iliescu's work has been exhibited at galleries in Romania, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United States. She has also had her photographs featured in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, Vogue Italia, and National Geographic. In addition to her photography career, Iliescu is also an active member of the Romanian art community; she regularly participates in workshops and lectures on photography and visual arts.

Iliescu's passion for photography began at an early age; she was inspired by her father's passion for film photography. After studying graphic design at the University of Bucharest she decided to pursue a career in photography full-time. Since then she has become one of Romania's most celebrated photographers; her work has been recognized with numerous awards including the Grand Prix Award at the International Photography Awards (IPA) in 2018.
