Mathias Sterner is a Swedish photographer and visual artist based in Stockholm. He is known for his unique and creative approach to photography, often combining elements of nature, architecture, and the human form.

Sterner began his career as a photographer in the early 2000s, working with fashion magazines and advertising campaigns. His work quickly gained recognition for its unique style and composition. In 2006, he was awarded the prestigious Hasselblad Award for his contribution to photography.

In recent years, Sterner has focused on creating fine art photography that explores themes of identity, nature, and the human condition. His work has been exhibited in galleries around the world including New York City’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), London’s Tate Modern, and Stockholm’s Fotografiska Museum. He has also published several books of his photographs including “The Human Condition” (2009) and “The Nature of Things” (2013).
