Markus Smirnova is a Russian-born photographer who has been capturing stunning images of the world around him since he was a young boy. Born in Moscow in 1985, Markus developed an early passion for photography and began taking pictures of his family and friends at the age of 12.

He went on to study photography at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, where he graduated with honors in 2008. After graduation, Markus moved to St. Petersburg, where he worked as a freelance photographer for several years before relocating to New York City in 2012.

Since then, Markus has become one of the most sought-after photographers in the city, shooting for some of the biggest names in fashion and advertising. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, GQ, and many more. He has also shot campaigns for brands like Nike, Adidas, Calvin Klein, and Hugo Boss.

In addition to his commercial work, Markus is also an avid traveler who loves to capture the beauty of nature through his lens. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia and his photographs have been exhibited in galleries around the world. His work is characterized by its vibrant colors and unique perspectives that capture moments that are both fleeting and timeless.
