Luis Eça is a Portuguese photographer who has been capturing the beauty of his homeland for over two decades. Born in Lisbon in 1975, he developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures of his family and friends. After studying photography at the University of Coimbra, he moved to Porto where he worked as a freelance photographer for several years.

In 2003, Luis decided to pursue his passion full-time and opened his own studio. Since then, he has become one of Portugal’s most renowned photographers, specializing in landscape and nature photography. His work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions around the world, including the National Geographic Magazine and the International Photography Festival in Arles, France.

Luis’s photographs capture the unique beauty of Portugal’s diverse landscapes – from its rugged coastlines to its lush forests – as well as its vibrant cities and towns. He is also known for his creative use of light and color to create stunning images that evoke emotion and tell stories about the places he visits.

In addition to his photographic work, Luis is also an avid traveler who loves exploring new cultures and landscapes around the world. He often shares his experiences through lectures, workshops, and books that inspire others to explore their own creativity through photography.
