Jeff Yiu is a professional photographer based in Los Angeles, California. He has been shooting for over 10 years and specializes in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle photography. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Elle, GQ, and Harper's Bazaar.
Jeff was born and raised in Hong Kong before moving to the United States to pursue his passion for photography. He attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography. After graduating, Jeff began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and brands.
In addition to his commercial work, Jeff also enjoys shooting personal projects that explore themes of identity and culture. His work has been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and the International Center of Photography in New York City.
Jeff is passionate about teaching others about photography and regularly hosts workshops at various institutions such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). He also serves on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting art education.
Jeff's work has been recognized with numerous awards including a Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Photography and a Hasselblad Masters Award for his series “The Beauty Within” which explored beauty standards around the world.
When he’s not behind the camera, Jeff enjoys traveling with his family and exploring new cultures through food and music.
