After completing his studies at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, France, he began his professional career as a freelance photographer.

Throughout his career, Jean-Francois has traveled extensively to capture stunning images of landscapes and people from all over the world. His work has been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, and Time Magazine. He has also exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world including the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
