Hordur Ingason is an Icelandic photographer who has been capturing the beauty of his homeland for over two decades. Born in Reykjavik in 1971, Hordur developed a passion for photography at an early age. He began taking pictures of the stunning landscapes and wildlife of Iceland, and soon his work was being featured in magazines and newspapers around the world.

In 2000, Hordur released his first book of photographs, “Iceland: A Photographic Journey”, which showcased his stunning images of the country’s natural beauty. Since then, he has released several other books and exhibited his work in galleries across Europe and North America. His photographs have also been featured in numerous publications such as National Geographic, The Guardian, and The New York Times.

Hordur’s work is characterized by its vivid colors and unique perspectives on Iceland’s landscapes. He often uses long exposures to capture the movement of clouds or waterfalls, creating a sense of motion in his images. His photographs are also known for their attention to detail; he often spends hours waiting for just the right light or angle to capture a particular scene.
