Golembiewski was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1965. He developed an interest in photography at an early age and began taking pictures with his father's camera when he was just a child. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he earned a degree in photography.

After college, Golembiewski moved to New York City where he worked as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. His work quickly gained recognition and he soon began working with some of the most prestigious publications in the world such as National Geographic and Time Magazine.

Throughout his career, Golembiewski has captured some of the most iconic images of our time including portraits of celebrities such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as well as landscapes from around the world. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world including The Museum of Modern Art in New York City and The Louvre in Paris.
