Eugenio Mazzinghi (1925-2015) was an Italian photographer and photojournalist who captured the beauty of his native country through his lens. Born in Florence, Italy, Mazzinghi developed a passion for photography at an early age. He studied photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and later worked as a freelance photographer for various newspapers and magazines.

Mazzinghi's work focused on capturing the everyday life of Italy, from its people to its landscapes. He traveled extensively throughout the country, documenting its culture and traditions. His photographs were featured in numerous publications, including Life Magazine, National Geographic, and The New York Times.

Mazzinghi's work was also exhibited in galleries around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. In addition to his photographic work, Mazzinghi wrote several books about Italian culture and history. He was also a professor at the University of Florence for many years.

Throughout his career, Mazzinghi received numerous awards for his work, including the Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris in 1975 and the Premio Internazionale di Fotografia in 1982. He passed away in 2015 at the age of 90 after a long career as one of Italy's most celebrated photographers.
