Diego Bendezu is a Peruvian photographer and visual artist based in Lima, Peru. He is known for his vibrant and colorful images that capture the beauty of his native country.

Born in Lima, Peru in 1985, Diego Bendezu developed an early interest in photography. He began taking pictures of his family and friends at a young age, and soon realized that he had a passion for capturing moments on film. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Lima where he studied photography and visual arts.

In 2010, Diego Bendezu began to pursue his career as a professional photographer. He quickly gained recognition for his unique style of photography which combines vibrant colors with traditional Peruvian culture. His work has been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, and The Guardian.

In addition to his photography work, Diego Bendezu also works as a visual artist creating digital art pieces that explore themes such as identity and culture. His artwork has been exhibited in galleries around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lima and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Diego Bendezu’s work has earned him numerous awards including the International Photography Award from the World Photography Organisation in 2014 and the Latin American Fotografia Award from PhotoEspaña in 2016. He continues to be an influential figure within the Peruvian art scene today.
