Darren was born and raised in Los Angeles and developed an interest in photography at a young age. He began taking pictures of his friends and family, which eventually led to him taking classes at a local college. After graduating from college, Darren decided to pursue photography full-time and began working as an assistant for some of the top photographers in the city.
