Christian Friis is a Danish photographer and visual artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary and fine art.

Friis began his career as a photographer in the early 2000s, working on projects for magazines and newspapers. He quickly developed a reputation for his creative approach to photography, which often featured unusual angles and perspectives. His work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, and TIME Magazine.

In addition to his commercial work, Friis has also created several personal projects over the years. These include “The Danish Landscape” (2005), “The Human Condition” (2008), and “The Nordic Light” (2010). His work has been exhibited in galleries around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Friis is also an active member of the photographic community. He regularly participates in workshops and lectures at universities and other institutions around the world. He is also a founding member of the Copenhagen-based photography collective “Kollektiv Fotografi”.
