Catherine Asanov is an award-winning photographer and visual artist based in New York City. She has been capturing the beauty of the world through her lens for over a decade, and her work has been featured in numerous publications, galleries, and exhibitions around the world.

Born in Russia, Catherine moved to the United States at a young age and quickly developed a passion for photography. She studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she honed her skills as a photographer and visual artist. After graduating, she began working as a freelance photographer for various publications and brands.

Catherine’s work is characterized by its vibrant colors and unique perspectives. She often uses natural light to create stunning images that capture the beauty of everyday life. Her photographs have been featured in publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, GQ, and many more.

In addition to her commercial work, Catherine also creates personal projects that explore themes such as identity, culture, nature, and travel. Her work has been exhibited in galleries across the United States and Europe including The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. In 2020 she was awarded the International Photography Award for her series “The Color of Life” which explored color theory through photography.
