Brigitte Lacombe is an internationally renowned photographer whose work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, and The New Yorker. Born in Paris, France in 1949, she began her career as a photographer in the 1970s. She has since become one of the most sought-after photographers in the world, shooting for some of the biggest names in fashion and entertainment.

Lacombe's work is known for its intimate portraits of celebrities and other public figures. She has photographed everyone from Mick Jagger to Meryl Streep to Barack Obama. Her photographs have been exhibited around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

In addition to her photography career, Lacombe has also worked as a film producer and director. She produced Martin Scorsese's documentary My Voyage to Italy (1999) and directed her own documentary film about French actress Isabelle Huppert entitled Isabelle Huppert: Portrait (2003).

Lacombe's work has earned her numerous awards throughout her career, including a Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Portraiture (2008) and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Center of Photography (2015). Her photographs are held in permanent collections at institutions such as The National Portrait Gallery in London and The Museum of Fine Arts Houston.
