Blossom Berkofsky is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker whose work has been featured in numerous publications, galleries, and museums around the world. She is best known for her documentary-style photography that captures the beauty of everyday life.

Born in New York City in 1965, Blossom was raised in a creative family that encouraged her to explore her artistic talents. She began taking photographs at a young age and quickly developed a passion for capturing the world around her. After graduating from high school, she attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography.

After college, Blossom moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. Her work was soon noticed by Hollywood producers who hired her to shoot promotional photos for their films. In addition to her commercial work, Blossom also pursued personal projects that focused on documenting everyday life in Los Angeles.

In 2000, Blossom released her first book of photographs titled “Los Angeles: A Photographic Journey” which was met with critical acclaim. The book showcased her unique style of documentary photography and earned her numerous awards including the International Photography Award and the Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Documentary Photography.

Since then, Blossom has continued to produce award-winning work that has been featured in galleries and museums around the world including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). In addition to photography, she has also directed several short films which have been screened at film festivals across the United States.

Blossom currently lives and works in Los Angeles where she continues to pursue both commercial and personal projects that capture the beauty of everyday life.
